How long have you been in business?
Lampworks has been in business for over 15 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize in custom lighting fixtures. We fabricate everything to order in our NYC studio. We can work form yor designs or ours.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Formerly, as a Professional Storeplanner for Macy*s Corporate, and as Director of Interior Design for Bloomingdale's, I became interested in how lighting influences and enhances how we live and work.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We always say "YES"! We can fabricate any kind of lighting or lampshade in any finish or size from a pair of tiny bookcase sconces to a huge chandelier for a hotel!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Along with our showroom here in NYC we have representation in the Merchandise Mart of Chicago.

By subway: Take the 4, 5 or 6 to 59th St. or the N,R to Lexington. Driving: We're on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.
